How is MDR different from antivirus or EDR?
Antivirus blocks known-bad files and EDR is the detection tool on your devices. MDR wraps a human service around all of it — investigating alerts and actively containing confirmed threats — so you get a resolved incident, not just an alert.
How quickly do you respond to a confirmed threat?
The service investigates suspicious activity and moves to contain confirmed threats within the response window set out in your agreement — for example, isolating an affected device or disabling a compromised account — then guides remediation.
Do we still need our own IT team?
Yes. MDR works alongside your IT staff, not instead of them. They keep systems running; we focus specifically on detecting and responding to security threats.
